The Wexford Bohemian publishes poetry, art, essays, photography, reviews and short stories on any topic

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

• The Wexford Bohemian publishes poetry, art, essays, photography, reviews and short stories on any topic

• Although there is no theme, pieces based or set in Wexford would be much appreciated

• The Wexford Bohemian is open to international submissions

• There is no submission fee

• Send up to 5 pieces of prose, poetry, essays, reviews or art in separate documents

• Submissions are chosen anonymously, please do not include your name on your PIECE OF WRITING

• Submissions are also accepted email. They can be sent to wexfordbohemian@gmail.com in a Word .doc file (specific submissions that must retain a particular form, such as poetry, can also be sent as a .pdf)

• Please include in the subject of your email the form of your submission (e.g.: poem, story, review, essay)

• Please title your document as 'Wexford Bohemian submission'

• Copyright remains with the author

• Prose submissions must not exceed 1,700 words

• Photography and art will be printed black & white, unless they are included on the cover

• Poetry submissions must not exceed 40 lines

• Please include a fifty-word bio while submitting, NOT ON YOUR SUBMISSION

• Final decision on publications rests with Red Books Press

Submissions close 30th June!

Due to the amount of submissions, we have a shortlist for each issue. Our shortlist will be announced in August 2024. The sixth issue of The Wexford Bohemian will be published in October 2024.
